Fellow Missourians,
Several bills moving in the Missouri General Assembly would gut protections for employees who’ve been discriminated against based on their age, ancestry, color, disability, sex, religion, race or nation of origin. But some politicians in the Missouri Legislature are okay with that — in fact, they’re trying to make it even easier for special interests and harassers to get off the hook.
It’s absolutely shameful — and we need to make sure others know about what’s happening in Jefferson City. Politicians in Jefferson City need to know that Missouri families are watching — and that we oppose SB43, SB45 and HB156. No one should get a free pass when they discriminate against or harass our families and friends.
