Kansas City is our hometown. The love for this city and it’s people are important to both our personal and professional families. Yonke Law LLC fights for the rights of these families and we recognize them as our friends and neighbors. Together we strive to impact where we live and work in positive and meaningful ways. We do this in part by donating our time and our resources to charitable and non-profit organizations. Getting involved and making a difference in peoples lives drives us to be our best both in the courtroom and out in the world.

Near and dear to our hearts are the men and women of the military that call Kansas City home. Our Veterans sacrificed their lives and their families for our freedoms. We can never fully repay their sacrifice but what we can do is make sure our city welcomes them home and remembers what they represent to our country. Of equal importance are the youth of our city and what they represent as our future leaders and difference makers. Ensuring their education and access to the tools necessary to achieve will only better prepare them for success.

Debate – Kansas City

The DKC has impacted thousands of students, educators and community members in this way. Yonke Law is a proud sponsor of DKC in providing students debate resources and opportunities that lead to students achieving academic success and leadership roles both in high school and beyond.

Third & Long Foundation

Our very own Mike Yonke and Charlie Regan are proud participating board members of the Derrick Thomas / Neil Smith Third and Long Foundation in Kansas City, Missouri. Through social, cultural, and educational activities and programs, the Third and Long Foundation helps 9 to 13 year old urban children succeed in school and in the outside world. Through mentorships, scholarships and a reading club, the Foundation is aimed at helping children avoid the societal issues of poverty, unemployment, and poor health that often times plague illiterate adults.

Veterans Community Project

The Veterans Community Project is dedicated to supporting every man and woman who took the oath for our country. They are determined to make a difference in the lives of homeless Veterans, a task accomplished by the community for the community. In Kansas City and with the help of the VFW Family Freedom Festival they are building a specialized community of tiny-homes and onsite services to provide housing stability and address the underlying cause of the Veteran’s homelessness. Yonke Law proudly supports this effort with both time and financial resources.
